The Australian Lot Feeders’ Association, on behalf of the Australian cattle feedlot industry, hosts two biennial National Conferences – BeefEx in even years and Smart Beef in odd years.
The Australian Lot Feeders’ Association, on behalf of the Australian cattle feedlot industry, hosts two biennial National Conferences – BeefEx in even years and SMARTBEEF in odd years.
BeefEx attracts over 700 delegates for a celebration and showcase of the feedlot sector. It involves multiple networking opportunities and a program that features speakers on ‘big picture’ topics.
SmartBeef attracts over 400 delegates for a ‘ground level’ technically focused conference on feedlot.
Both conferences profile and reward leaders in the industry, with presentations including the Young Lot Feeder of the Year Award, Excellence in Feedlot Education Medal, Top Gun Award, Innovation/Innovator of the Year Award and Communicate Your Research Competition.
ALFA Life Membership and the Outstanding Services to the Industry Award may also be awarded during the Conference.
