EXCELLENCE IN FEEDLOT EDUCATION
MEDAL
Recognising individuals with a commitment to career development

ABOUT
The Medal, proudly sponsored by Zoetis, recognises and awards individuals within the feedlot sector that are demonstrating excellence in feedlot operation skills and who are applying skills or knowledge as a result of participating in, or graduating from, training.
To take part in the Medal, entrants are required to fill out the entry form at the bottom of this page. First round judging will be based on the answers provided in the entrant's submission, scored against a set criteria. A maximum of 6 entrants will progress to second round judging, which takes place in the form of a workplace or online interview with the entrant and their manager. From this round, a maximum of 3 entrants will progress to the final judging round, which involves taking part in professional development training to assist in producing a short video that promotes the entrant and the training they have undertaken. Entrant videos will be assessed against a set criteria and individual scores from all three rounds will be accumulated to determine the overall winner of the Medal.
