This award exists to recognise the valuable contribution of individuals to the current and future existence of the Australian Feedlot Industry.

 

Nominees are considered for their level of contribution under the categories of:

1. Leadership

2. support/inspiration

3. impact on the industry; and

4. general contribution to the success of the Australian Lot Feeders' Association

 

As a general guide, individuals with over 20 years experience and currently active in industry are appropriate for nomination.

 

The online nomination form must be received by August 22.  All nominees and supporting details will be provided to the ALFA Council for consideration. A secret ballot is conducted with majority votes deciding the preferred candidate. 

 

The Recipient of this award will be announced at the next ALFA SmartBeef Conference dinner in October every odd year and receive a plaque.
