About the Award
The ALFA Young Lot Feeder of the Year Award is designed to encourage emerging industry leaders to contribute their ideas and vision for lot feeding at a national level.
ALFA seeks and fosters qualities that empower participants to think outside the square, to be bold in their ideas and continuously develop and challenge their thinking about the Australian lot feeding industry and its future potential.
The Young Lot Feeder of the Year Award seeks to identify, develop and reward individuals who aspire to become future industry leaders
Meet the Judging Panel
The judging panel is comprised of three individuals, each carefully selected to ensure a robust selection process and independent outcome in each step of the Award judging process.
This year’s judging panel members are:
Jim Cudmore, ALFA Life Member and industry stalwart
Molly Sage, Young Lot Feeder of the Year 2020 Recipient
Scott Sloss, General Manager of Performance Feeds and Award sponsor
We are thrilled to have a longstanding and well respected leader within the feedlot industry, Jim Cudmore, to the judging panel this year.
Jim has over 20 years’ industry experience, that has earnt himself an ALFA Life Membership.
We also welcome Molly Sage, 2020 Young Lot Feeder of the Year, to the panel.
Despite winning in COVID lockdown, Molly has taken the experience in her stride and knows exactly what it means (and takes) to be a Young Lot Feeder.
