About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking a results-driven Loadout Manager to join the Operations team based at our Biloela processing site in Queensland. The role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the dispatch of Teys' meat products securing a smooth operation between Boning Room and Loadout area.
Reporting to our Plant Manager, you will ensure compliance and quality standards for orders and product inventory, while minimizing any damage and delays to Teys cartons and pallets. You will be required to secure all documentation are accurate and submitted on time. Additionally, you will oversee health and safety of our employees and environment, addressing risks and coordinating necessary training.
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
-Experience within an export meat processing operation
-Demonstrate leadership skills and experience working in an export loadout/warehousing environment
-Sound knowledge of the Export Control (Meat and Meat Products) Orders
-Sound knowledge of product specifications/cuts normally associated with export processing

About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking a day shift Boning Room Supervisor to join the Boning Room team based at our Rockhampton processing site in Central Queensland. With personal qualities of reliability and commitment, you will lead a ‘safety-first’ team across our meat processing operations ensuring compliance with Teys policies and procedures.
Overall role requirements include:
- Lead, direct and supervise employees, including identifying and organising training needs.
- Ensure product complies with customer specifications and that all orders are filled on time and yields are maximised.
-Ensure food safety and integrity are given priority, supporting and positively leading safety behaviours and culture.
-Assist in implementing corrective and preventative action plans to eliminate customer complaints and non-conformities.
-Conduct regular STOP inspections.
-Ensure manning’s are maintained at approved levels and overtime minimised.

Leading a team of up to 8 people, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the hands-on day to day milling & feeding operations at the feedlot. The modern steam flaking mill is state of the art and can process up to 200 tonne of grain per day.
The feeding system utilises the latest Digistar technology and delivery is carried out using Rotomix feedtrucks.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, Koojan Downs Feedlot this opportunity will suit a self-motivated person who is hands on and is passionate about the agriculture industry. You will have a strong work ethic and be willing to learn and contribute to the team.
You will be responsible for the operations of the feeding facility and ensure that the operational deliverable and staff are managed in accordance with Harvest Road’s quality, safety and animal welfare policies and procedures by ensuring the proper programs are in place to promote optimal growth.

Key Responsibilities of the role:
• Assist the operation manager to plan and execute capital expenditure projects and feed delivery efficiencies.
• Formulation, allocation, and delivery of daily cattle feed rations including the milling of raw materials.
• Ensure feed trucks are operating in a well maintained and functional capacity.
• Conduct scheduled ration and commodity test sample collection.
• Adopt a proactive approach to identifying hazards, assessing risk and reporting incidents.
• Provide guidance and supervision of fellow team members in the feed team.

WHAT WILL I DO?

With a licensed capacity of 28,000 head, access to an extensive network of quality cattle and ideally placed between the Riverina & Beef City plants, Caroona is a vital asset in the supply of grain fed cattle for both the JBS Queensland and New South Wales based processing facilities.
We are currently looking for a motivated, efficient and reliable individual to join our feeding team on a full-time basis. The role of the feeding and milling team is to prepare and allocate high quality, scientifically created feed rations to cattle within a feedlot. Milling equipment is used to process and prepare the grain for cattle, and loader and feed truck drivers ensure well mixed rations are fed to the right cattle at the right time. The ‘bunk call’ is used to decide feed allocation for each pen of cattle. This area is required to be highly organised, efficient and precise.
The skills and knowledge you will develop in the feeding and milling team include operating mobile plant, operating milling equipment, cattle nutrition, quality assurance, the upkeep of equipment and machinery and checking feedstuff stocktakes and deliveries. The ability and willingness to learn, operating machinery and data input are integral parts of this position.
Your key responsibilities will include: Timely loading, mixing and delivery of feed Data input and maintenance Daily pre-operational checks of associated vehicles Maintain and service equipment General hygiene duties (shovelling/sweeping/washing) Additional Mill roustabout duties as required.
