This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, family-run agribusiness in a newly created General Manager role, based in our Brisbane CBD office. You’ll be responsible for driving growth and efficiency across Signature Beef through strategic leadership, operational oversight, and team development. Working closely with senior management and the executive team, you’ll implement strategies that enhance productivity, optimise processes, and strengthen customer and supplier relationships across Australia and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership – Drive growth, innovation, and profitability across the business.
• Operational Oversight – Oversee production, logistics, sales, and reporting to ensure smooth operations.
• Livestock Management – Coordinate kill schedules, manage supply chains, and monitor market performance.
• Marketing & Customer Relations – Lead product development and maintain key relationships with customers and distributors.
• Financial Management – Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across departments.
• Inventory & Logistics – Manage stock levels, deliveries, and operational efficiency.
• Systems & Process Improvement – Improve systems and compliance to support decision-making.
• Team Leadership – Lead and develop a high-performing team; foster accountability and a strong culture.
• Compliance & Risk – Ensure operational and financial integrity through robust internal controls.

We are looking for a preferable single person to be our feed up person at our feedlot and general maintenance. Can be a couple but there is only 1 position available but there is work available in the district for a partner.
Must be able to drive a loader and telehandler proficiently. This is a definite requirement.
Good computer skills.
Good English
Good OHS and be able to work on their own and in a group environment.
We would prefer a full-time person or the possibility for sponsorship for the right candidate.
Accommodation self-contained donga with own toilet and bathroom.
Communal kitchen and laundry.
For a long-term candidate, a house would be available.

Wages are pending experience.

About Koojan Downs Feeding Facility:
Koojan Downs feeding facility is located 20kms from Moora and 160kms north of Perth. Koojan Downs is part of the integrated beef supply chain for Harvest Road. This integrated beef supply chain ranges from north to southwest of Western Australia and is based on best-practice ecological planning and animal welfare management.
Opportunity:
We are currently seeking two permanent energetic Livestock Hands to join our expanding business. Working on a 10:4 permanent roster, you will be a part of a team to operate the feeding facility near Moora, WA. This is WA’s largest feeding facility and is designed to supply Harvest Road’s processing facility, Harvey Beef.
Reporting to the Livestock Manager this opportunity will suit a self-motivated person who is hands on and is passionate about the agriculture industry. You will have a strong work ethic and be willing to learn and contribute to the team.
Please note:
*You must be an experienced horse rider*
**This is a permanent position, those on short term/working holiday visas will not be considered.**
Key Responsibilities include:
• Carrying out and delegation of all day-to-day livestock operations at Koojan Downs, including stock husbandry and all aspects of cattle health.
• Ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Communication with the other members of the crew and facility management.
• Unload and load cattle into and out of the facility for processing.
• Supporting the Livestock Manager to coordinate and perform the movement of cattle.
• Recording of cattle movements and treatments in livestock management software.
• Ability to pen ride to observe the welfare of the animals daily.
• Administering medicine or performing simple welfare tasks on an animal.
• Other duties as required.
Ideal skillset:
• Must be a capable and experienced horse rider with at least 12 months of experience.
• Must have a driver’s licence and own transport.
• Willingness to work on a roster basis (10:4).
• Agricultural knowledge and cattle experience essential.
• Constantly demonstrate commitment to safe working practices and animal welfare.
• Able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
• Motivated and hard-working, willing to contribute to the Harvest Road team culture.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Attention to detail.
• Possess sufficient fitness level to carry out required tasks.

West Wimmera Beef Feedlot is a 2000SCU capacity feedlot located near Nhill in Victoria. West Wimmera Beef is a family owned and run feedlot. We are currently looking for motivated, knowledgeable, independent employee to fill the full time role of Livestock hand, with potential to progress to manager. The Feedlot is one part of our farming enterprise also consisting of sheep and broad acre cropping.
Responsibilities:
• Daily livestock handling including stock monitoring and movement.
• Diagnosis of animal health symptoms.
• Administration of animal health treatments.
• Maintaining accurate records to meet Quality Assurance requirements.
• Cattle induction and drafting.
• Operation of tractor and front end loader.
• Feedlot maintenance including trough cleaning and pen cleaning.
• liaising with Vet, Nutritionist and stock agent.
Criteria:
• Experience with cattle handling preferred.
• Communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Strong commitment to animal welfare, health & nutrition.
• Ability & willingness to learn new skills.
• Current Front end loader licence and Chemical Users Certification an advantage.
• HC or MC Drivers Licence an advantage.
