ALFA’s Back to basics: Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Pilot Workshop will be delivered in-person in Oakey on 31 March 2026.

This pilot workshop is designed to benefit all feedlot staff, particularly those working within, or closely with, the maintenance team.  

The workshop will also benefit those involved as suppliers to the feedlot industry, including those in composting, pen maintenance and sustainability, by offering an insight into how quality inputs and services directly impact animal welfare, operational efficiency, and the production of a premium finished product.

This pilot program will be delivered over a 1-day workshop, half day in classroom, half day on feedlot (approx. 8am – 3:30pm).
