Australian Feedlot Training Education and Careers Hub (Feedlot TECH) is the home of all feedlot-specific skills training and careers information. It provides the training, education and career pathways to unlock the gate to your lot feeding career.
How to gain points on Feedlot TECH
It’s time to level up your learning, benchmark your skills, and go from ‘rookie’ to ‘master’ thanks to the gamification points system on Feedlot TECH.
It's easy to earn points, here's some quick examples:
Log in > earn 1 point just for keeping active on the platform.
Complete a single module > earn yourself 10 points. This includes attending/watching an ALFA/MLA webinar, or completing any of the various MLA or ALFA training/workshops.
Make your way through a complete Feedlot Fundamentals course like Feeding and Milling or Livestock Handling and earn yourself 70 points.
Feedlot TECH learning levels
Work your way up from a Rookie to a Master by consistently upskilling yourself on the fundamentals of lot feeding on Feedlot TECH. The points add up every time you complete a module or course and as you go you'll earn yourself different badges and status.
Once you reach "Rookie" status and are one of the top 5 point scoring users in the month, you are automatically in the running to win the "Rookie of the Month" draw.
Once you reach "General Hand" status, you are eligible to enter the ALFA Education Medal, proudly sponsored by Zoetis. Entries open in May, visit the website for more details.

Eligibility Criteria:
You must be an active user, registered on Feedlot TECH.
You must be employed at a feedlot registered on Feedlot TECH.
You must hold 'Rookie' status or higher on the Feedlot TECH leader board.
Terms & Conditions:
The winner will be drawn at random from the top 5 scoring users on Feedlot TECH within the month specified.
The monthly winner will receive a personalised Feedlot TECH & Zoetis co-branded merchandise item worth $150.
The prize is not redeemable for cash.
The prize will be issued to the postal address registered on Feedlot TECH for the users' feedlot employer.
All care will be taken in posting the prize to the recipient, however, ALFA nor the sponsor are responsible for the safe arrival of the prize.
Total number of winners per calendar year is twelve.
