Registrations are now open for ALFA’s Animal Health & Welfare workshop which will be delivered in-person in September 2023, across multiple locations.
The workshop aims to instill and improve animal husbandry practices directly related to animal health and welfare in Australian feedlots. This workshop will benefit all feedlot staff, particularly staff members who are handling cattle on a day-to-day basis. As well as those outside industry, including those in the supply chain, especially feeder cattle suppliers who will gain an insight as to why feedlots pay premiums for well-prepared cattle and how to achieve these premiums.
