July is always an incredibly busy time for the lot feeding sector, and with the start of a new financial year comes new challenges and changes to improve our feedlot businesses. As hard working as we are as an industry, we also need to prioritise time for a break from everyday operations – to get out there and explore what’s been happening while we’re on the farm.
What better opportunity to take a break, see the latest and greatest in innovation, and catch up with friends new and old, than heading to BeefEx 2024 on 15-17 October.
Held at the RNA Showgrounds in Brisbane, this year’s BeefEx conference will host an impressive lineup of international keynote speakers telling all on markets, trade, artificial intelligence, staff recruitment, decision-making under pressure and more.
ALFA is excited to host the premier grain fed beef conference and bring lot feeders, industry stakeholders, international guests, scientists, researchers, chefs, butchers and many more together for another spectacular BeefEx event.
It’s also the perfect time to get acquainted with the best and brightest in the industry. Getting to know the rising stars in our sector through ALFA’s awards program is a highlight each year, with a plethora of talent shining in the Young Lot Feeder of the Year Award, Excellence in Feedlot Education Medal, and the Communicate your Research Competition, alongside many others.
For me, this event is so special and truly like no other. The way our industry comes together and connects, networking and learning while also having fun, is such a fantastic experience to be a part of. If there is one event I’m booking in my calendar, it’s always BeefEx.
There is something for everyone at BeefEx 2024 – whether it be new learnings from our speakers, checking out the latest products from our exhibitors, or networking and celebrating at our social events.
Being a demanding and fast paced sector, it’s important to ALFA that we provide people with a chance to learn about what’s on the horizon, facilitate connections and most importantly, put on a good show.
Catch you at BeefEx 2024!
