
Campdraft Competition
Get your boots and buckles ready for the SmartBeef23 Campdraft Cup!
Teams will go head-to-head for charity in this inaugural competition, to be held at Elders Killara Campdraft Arena as part of the ALFA SmartBeef23 event on October 12, 2023. The competition is run by the Australian Bushmen's Campdraft and Rodeo Association (ABCRA) on behalf of ALFA.

Every ticket to the SmartBeef23 Campdraft Competition Sundown Farewell event includes a donation to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.

ENTER A TEAM
The Campdraft will be comprised of 45 runs, made up of 3 participants from up to 15 teams in total. Entries will be taken on a first in best dressed basis via the completion of the below entry form.
Team registrations will close on August 25, and team details will be passed to ABCRA to undertake their competitor approval process. ABCRA will manage the communication and registration process with participants from that point.

Entry conditions

It shall be a condition of entry that each and every competitor in this events accepts total and absolute personal responsibility for the risks involved during such event.

Competitors must BYO hay, yards, buckets for their horse. Water is supplied by Killara.

Teams may enter with 3 or less entrants. If 1-3 riders are required to fill positions, the ABCRA is able to provide local competitors to fill the team. It is possible to register a team made up solely of ABCRA registered riders.

All entrants must be, or apply for. ABCRA membership at time of team entry approval.

The entry form must be completed by the Manager.

Camping on site is available to competitors only.

Competitors must be over 18 years of age at time of competition.

All competitors must wear a helmet when competing.

Competitors must have prior campdraft competition experience, or they are an ACBRA nominated rider.

Cancellations must be made in writing to events@feedlots.com.au and any requests for a refund will be accepted up until August 21. After this date, no refunds will be provided.

An ambulance will be on location. Should a competitor require its use, the fee for doing so will be passed on to the individual.

Competitors must not compete under the influence of any illegal substance or alcohol for the individual's safety.
