Nutrition & Milling Workshop
Registrations are now open for the ALFA Nutrition and Millling Workshop to be delivered in-person in March across the country.
The one-day workshop, hosted by ALFA’s Technical Services Officer, Jeff House and delivered by nutristionists, Dr Damien Nankervis and/or Dr Grace James (depending on location). This workshop aims to instil and improve animal nutrition practices directly related to animal health and welfare in Australian feedlots.
This workshop will be run as a classroom based course.

The face-to-face training will be delivered at the following locations and dates:

- Hahndorf, SA, Thursday, 14 March
- Moama, NSW, Friday, 15 March
- Condamine, QLD, Tuesday, 19 March
- Dalby, QLD, Wednesday, 20 March
- Oakey, QLD, Thursday, 21 March
- Tamworth, NSW, Tuesday, 26 March
- Narrandera, NSW, Wednesday, 27 March
Most days will run 8am - 3:30pm. Specific venue locations & times will be provided upon enrolment confirmation.
REGISTRATION FEE
Registration is per person and covers training materials and catering for the day. Travel to and from the workshop is not included.
Full rates:
ALFA MEMBER - $330(inc gst) per person
NON-MEMBER - $430 (inc gst) per person

Group Enrolments
If you have a group enrolment please select number of staff in the check out, and enter details of the primary contact person. We will contact the primary person to gather the details of staff to complete the registration.
Pay on Invoice/PO Registrations
If you would like to pay on invoice and/or require a PO number included, please email events@feedlots.com.au with the full name and email addresses (if known) of each person you'd like to register, or alternatively, number of staff attending, and ALFA will register your group and issue an invoice upon receival.
Terms & Conditions:
ALFA holds events in third-party venues and uses contracted facilitators that may hold their own policies around COVID-19 vaccination and may require ALFA event attendees to check in via a QR code and/or show proof of your COVID-19 vaccination certificate or medical exemption. ALFA holds no responsibility for your ability to access a venue if you cannot produce sufficient evidence of vaccination or if you choose not to adhere to the venue’s check-in requirements. No refunds will be issued if you are denied access to the venue due to the above outlined conditions.
