PEN RIDER/ LIVESTOCK HAND (Pinegrove Feedlot, Millmerran QLD)

Currently, we have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Pen Rider/Livestock Hand to join our close-knit Pinegrove team. Located at Millmerran, our recently refurbished Pinegrove feedlot is an important part of our growing and evolving business.

We are looking for people who:

• Are able to provide their own team of sensible workhorses and gear

• Have previous cattle handling and horsemanship experience

• Possess a keen attitude and willingness to learn

• Have a strong work ethic and great communication skills

• Look for opportunities to continuously improve

Key functions of the role include:

• Pen riding and livestock movements

• Drafting, processing and hospital treatments

• Data entry/processing and accurate record-keeping using specialist feedlot systems

• A strong focus on Workplace Health & Safety
