CATTLE FEEDER/MILL OPERATOR (Coonamble Feedlot, Coonamble NSW)

Coonamble Feedlot is a modern privately owned business that was established in 2007. The feedlot is a state-of-the-art facility using the latest machinery, infrastructure, and technology.

We are seeking an energetic person to join our team to provide a high level of care to our livestock. As a Cattle Feeder/Mill Operator you would report directly to the Assistant Manager.

Primary Duties:

• Bunk calling and feed allocation.

• Mixing and feeding out

• Mill operation

• Cleaning/Maintaining plant, machinery, and work areas.

• Comply with industry quality assurance requirements.

Skills Required:

• Need to be motived, persistent and have patients when faced with obstacles.

• You need to be commitment to the job.

• Have a strong commitment to QA, workplace health and safety and animal welfare.

• Preference would be given to those experienced with loader/truck operation.

• Experience with Elynx software would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.

• Being able to work well in a team environment is essential.

The work roster for this position is 10 days on and 4 days off.
